Revealed earlier today on
StarWars.com, is Marvel Comics' September launching "Journey to Star Wars:The Force Awakens-Shattered Empire" complete with an awesome illustration by artist Phil Noto. I gotta tell you, I haven't been this excited for Star Wars ANYTHING in years. Probably not since standing in line in the Eagle Rock Mall in Los Angeles, California in 1983 waiting with my Dad to see Return of the Jedi. Why? Well, with the prequels, we knew where the story was going. We didn't know HOW it was going to get there, but we knew how it was going to end. With Anakin Skywalker turning evil and becoming Darth Vader. This time? The sky's the limit! We have NO CLUE where any or all of this stuff is going, and sometimes, not knowing where you're going is pretty awesome. I'm guessing we'll find out a little bit of stuff at Star Wars Celebration next month, and then we'll find out a LOT more at San Diego Comicon this July. Either way, stay tuned right here for the best Star Wars COMIC coverage and reviews that I have time for.
