This time, it's personal.

Since 1996 I have been battling, in one form or another, type 2 diabetes. In the last week, I have gotten 2 HORRIBLE doctor reports and I'm afraid that what I've been doing, just isn't enough. Instead of whining, crying or giving up, I'm refocusing my efforts to get this disease under control and to KEEP it under control. I'm done playing around. Done being limited by what this disease is and causes. To keep myself accountable, I'll be taking you with me. Yes, each and every one of you. Starting on Sunday, July 21st, I will begin posting regular weekly articles on what I've done to make myself healthier each and every week. I'm doing this, basically, because it's not as easy to let things slide when I know that I have to put my "results" online each and every week. I'll do my best to keep things interesting, but sometimes, I'll be honest, it's not going to be exciting. But, I thank you in advance for bearing with me through this. In the end, it's going to be SOOOO worth it.

  1. Good deal, Jimmy. We'll be watching as your "accountability" police.

Funny, we have even cut down the doughnuts on our podcast since my cholesterol crept up over the last couple years!
