WOW!!!! And, keep in mind, those are just the pics I CAN publish here. You can (and should) follow Sophia on Twitter here and be sure to check out her website here!!

What I thought of...Captain America #8

Captain America #8: Cap battles Ian for his own life! Zola is headed into our dimension with a huge army! What the hell?!?!??!
The Good: There is only one word for this issue-NAILBITER!!!! OK, that should be two words, but whatever. This issue has to be my favorite one so far of Remender's run. It's got everything. Action, suspense, thrills!!! Wow, I'm starting to sound like Stan Lee. Seriously, though, it's pretty f'n fantastic. And, I know I've said this before, but it REALLY applies here-THE LAST PAGE IS INCREDIBLE!!!
The Bad: Hmmm. Not quite sure what to classify as "bad" here. Sure, I'm still not 100% wrapped up in the Zola-sphere story, but this does a LOT to bring it all around to a nice tidy resolution. And, it's not even a resolution yet.
The Verdict: Pick it up!!! It's great!!

What I thought of...Nova #5

Nova #5: Sam has The Ultimate Nullifier and has ZERO clue on how to use it. He's being chased by an old friend of his father's and there's an alien armada ready to attack Earth. Just another, ordinary, average day.
The Good: Loeb & McGuinness have created the BEST all ages book that's not for kids. Seriously, Marvel could have slapped an "all ages" stamp on this and, while it wouldn't have sold nearly as well, it would make a great kids book. This is a book that I would've LOVED when I was about 8 or 10 years old. Well, those days are long passed, but you know what? I still love the hell out of this book! I think the best word to describe it "charming",
The Bad: NONE!!! Nope, not a thing. There's really not one thing about this comic that I didn't like. I love Ed McGuinness' art, he draws everything like it's an old Masters of the Universe toy.
The Verdict: Grab TWO copies!!! One for yourself, and one to give to someone who's younger than you. You'll BOTH be thankful that you did. Highest recommendation possible!!

What you should buy-6/26/13

LOTS and LOTS of good stuff this week!! Let's get right to it!!
Justice League #21: The origin of Shazam concludes and the road to Trinity War gets underway!!!
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe #3: He-Man has to defend Castle Grayskull! Seriously, people think he does it all the damn time, but this issue he ACTUALLY has to defend Castle Grayskull.
Ghostbusters #5: Spooky train!!!
Flash #21: Flash meets Kid Flash! And from the looks of things, he's not too impressed!
Captain America #8: Crazy. Super freakin crazy.
Previews #298: Spotlighting stuff coming out in September of this year-this issue features the upcoming The Star Wars from Dark Horse!!
-Get all this stuff and MORE at you're local comic shop. As always, I'll be at Challengers Comics + Conversation, so if you're in the neighborhood, stop by!! And get ready for next week:

Hot Girl Wednesday...Starring JENNA HAZE!!

For the past 11 years, Jenna Haze has been one of, if not THE, top names in the adult industry. Winning countless awards, it's really easy to see why. The perfect body, the face of an angel, she's pretty much got it all. Unfortunately (for us) she retired last year, but that's no reason to quit looking! In fact, I can't stop staring:

Sigh. We'll miss you Jenna. Even though retired from the adult game, she's still keeping herself very busy. You can follow her on Twitter here, and check out her youtube channel here.
